06/10/2018: New Build in Brockweir

It's always good to get the job of fitting one of our roller garage doors in a new build home. The walls and door aperture are new and perfect, the electricity supply is ready. With no old door to remove and nothing to be made good first, we can get right on with the best parts of the job. Fitting the colour matched surrounds to brand new door apertures, fixing the super smooth runners to perfect walls and seeing the garage door in place for the first time give a great sense of satisfaction in the job.

So, it was even better to be asked to fit two roller doors to this new build project's garage in the Wye Valley village of Brockweir. Covering the short journey to this site takes in a very pleasant drive from our Crick base, passing Chepstow Race Course before winding along the A466 Monmouth Road through St Arvans and Tintern before turning right over the charismatic river Wye bridge at Brockweir. The garage was there, ready for us, like a blank canvas beckoning to an artist, and in a very short space of time, the doors were in place and working. Our customer was delighted with the finish.

Ah! The easy life of working on a new build…
